Inland Manufacturing AM-22 Suppressor designed specifically for rimfires & center fire up to 5.7x28 mm

The Inland AM-22 suppressor is 5.5 inches in length and just under 1 inch diameter. Weighing in at 4.6 oz, they are one of the lightest suppressors on the market today. The Inland AM-22 suppressors are constructed with a hard anodized aluminum tube and stainless steel base threaded 1/2 X 28 TPI.

To meet market demand for a more efficient aluminum alloy design, Inland Manufacturing has revised the AM-22 baffle to match the sound reduction performance of the original X Baffle System while reducing production costs and passing those savings on to the consumer. The result is a 5-port one-piece monocore baffle insert that is machined from solid aluminum billet. This insert is easier to maintain and clean and is a direct replacement for the earlier X Baffle insert that was originally used. Tests with the new baffle insert have yielded excellent accuracy results, often exceeding the original with many short-barreled applications where bullet stabilization was minimal. dB reduction was not affected by the design change, and the new baffle insert was tested with 5.7 x 28 handguns with no adverse effect.

As of May 1, 2026, all new AM-22 production is offered with only the new 5-Port baffle insert, however some inventory of the original X Baffle core may be present from Inland and or Inland’s supply network. The I-Core monocore baffle system features the X Baffle system that was designed to be used dry or with Inland dB FOAM suppressor foam for maximum efficiency. The PM-22 monocore is an injected formed polymer with aluminum blast cap intended for lower pressure rimfire use The AM-22 monocore is machined from solid aluminum billet and hard anodized and suitable for rimfire and small bore calibers up to 5.7 x 28 mm

In 1941, with the US being pulled into one of the greatest conflicts in world history, a division of General Motors was tasked to support the war effort.

The result was firearm history with Inland Manufacturing becoming one of the largest gun manufacturers in the US, producing nearly 3 million firearms in less than 5 years.

The most notable of Inland's firearm production was the .30 Caliber M1 carbine and the folding stock variant, the M1A1 Paratrooper model.

Dayton, Ohio was home for the original Inland company, and is now the home of the new Inland Manufacturing located just two miles from the original facility. Today's Inland Manufacturing is now producing a new line of .30 caliber M1 carbines and 1911 style pistols.
